There is no parking available on the property, however, there is a large free public parking area by the football field a 2-minute walk away.

Phone Coverage

Due to its rural location there is limited phone coverage ranging from good to non-existent depending on your network provider, to get around this most locals use Wi-Fi and internet-based communication channels. The house also has a landline telephone that you can use.

Public Transport

The house is located approx. 100m (approx. 2 mins walk) from The Quay, Calstock bus stop and 1km (approx. 10 mins walk) from Calstock Station. Train connections to Plymouth are roughly every 2 hours.

The house has no garden but has a large terrace and is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a 2-minute walk from the river, football pitch and children’s play area. There are many wonderful walks nearby.

We do not accept pets, due to high quality carpeting throughout the property.

The Foredeck is a one bedroom, ground floor apartment which can accommodate a maximum of two people. If you are part of a larger group, consider renting it in addition to Galleon House, as the Foredeck is directly below Galleon House and connected through a private garden & terrace.
